The Fallen Leaf Lake Community Services District Board of Directors will hold its regular meeting on Saturday, September 5, 2026 at 10:00 AM at the FLLCSD Community Room, 398 Fallen Leaf Rd., South Lake Tahoe, CA 96150.

A few highlights from this month's agenda: the Fire Chief will recommend removing seven trees near the volleyball court to reopen the emergency helispot, and will present an update on Fire Department operations and 2026 strike team activity. The Board will also consider increasing the maximum amount of the bridge loan from Peter Thieriot from $500,000 to $1,000,000 to help cover payroll for out-of-district assignments, and will discuss a proposal to reduce in-district paramedic staffing and fire captain coverage for part of the remainder of the year. On the parks and recreation side, the Board will hear an update from Big Blue Hospitality and consider next steps on a concessionaire services RFP, including a proposal from MRG, LLC to assist with the solicitation process. The Board will also receive a Fiscal Year 2026/27 budget update and discuss potential cost-saving measures.
