Dear Fallen Leaf Lake Community,
On behalf of the Board of Directors, Chief Sauer, and General Manager Ashton, I want to extend our deep appreciation for your support of the Special Fire Tax — Measure E — which El Dorado County has projected to pass. While additional ballots remain to be counted, approximately 88% of those received and counted so far were in favor of Measure E, surpassing the 66% threshold for approval. This reflects a strong commitment to the future of our community and to our fire protection services.
We are equally grateful for the trust you have placed in the Board and our Staff. We recognize that this trust carries both responsibility and accountability, and we do not take it lightly. Your confidence in us strengthens our shared commitment to serving the community with integrity, diligence, and care.
